Freelance Digital Copywriter

We are looking for a dedicated Freelance Digital Copywriter to join our Product Design and Digital Marketing agencys Freelance Collective, with the possibility of joining our Home Team permanently in the future. The ideal Copywriter will be excited to write clear, concise and emotionally-driven content for our clients.


What Youll Do

Provide brand messaging and copywriting for our clients, with a focus on driving website traffic through inbound marketing.

Plan

Manage editorial calendars, identify search opportunities
Creative direction for copywriting and production
Campaign pitch creation, video scripting, creative briefs
Research off-page search opportunities

Write
Write websites, digital ads, blog posts, social media posts
Write email marketing communications and sales materials
Edit copy for other team members on the marketing team
UX copywriting for web and mobile applications

Publish
Publish your work across the web using content management systems, e-mail marketing and social publishing tools
Optimize website pages and posts for search visibility


What You Bring

2-3 years experience in a content creation role
Bachelor of Arts degree, preferably in English, communications or creative writing
Working knowledge of WordPress, digital publishing and content management systems
Strong editorial writing skills and ability to switch tones across multiple industries
Knowledge of search engine optimization and keyword planning tools and their relationship with content marketing
Experience with: SEMrush, AHREFs, Google workspace suite (sheets, docs,slides), Figma, Social Platforms, SEO plugin tools, Email marketing platforms
