Copywriter

We (The Seraphic Group) are currently searching for an experienced and creative Copywriter dedicated to crafting excellent, original content. The copywriter will work with the team to better understand project expectations, participate in the brainstorming process, conduct research to develop or support writing and produce content for each brand's needs.

The successful candidate will have extensive writing and research skills, have sound project management skills, be detail orientated, and possess an ability to adapt to the varying needs and voices of each unique brand set within the Seraphic Group.

Our HQ is located in Charlottesville, VA, however this position has the capacity to be remote. If located out of state, flexibility to meet the time requirements around the Eastern Standard Time Zone is required.

Qualified Job Applicants will have portfolios demonstrating professional work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched, compliant, and meets needs and deadlines
Collaborating with team members to understand scope of each project
Conducting research to formulate ideas and support writing
Learning about the target audience for copy (regenerative agriculture, farmers, consumers, health, and wellness, etc.)
Assisting in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content
Bring a voice to the table to share with our team when you feel we are missing an opportunity/angle

QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 to 5 Years of Experience Preferred in the following areas:

Creative Copy writing
o Social Media copy experience
o Promotional copy experience
o Advertising copy experience
Demonstrated writing skills (grammar, syntax, tone of voice, etc.)
Strong communication and research skills
Creativity, Resourcefulness, Flexibility, and Motivation
Ability to understand the needs associated with a project as well as the target audience
Receptiveness to feedback
Willingness to meet deadlines
Experience writing copy within health & wellness is beneficial
