Senior Copywriter

The Senior Copywriter (Senior Contributor) is responsible for acting as a leader in the Editorial and Creative department. They create and edit content appropriate to the project, and possess the necessary skills to write in a variety of styles and for diverse audiences. The Senior Copywriter is also responsible for the document deliverables, including Requirements Document, User Profiles, Category Trees, Editorial Platforms, Nomenclature, Publications Schedules and any other writing/editing associated with a project. Additional responsibilities include keeping pace with developments in Web content usability, and employs that knowledge to create Web sites that communicate effectively, and working with the information architects and designers to integrate information design, writing and graphics into client projects. The senior writer should have strong interpersonal, problem solving and project leadership skills, and be able to mentor the writers and associate writers. The Senior Copywriter may be assigned the creative lead role.
