Position: Direct-Marketing Associate
The Direct-Marketing Associate will cultivate customer-relationships by leveraging professional communications skills, both written and verbal. This candidate should posses a professional vocabulary that is delivered with a positive, affable tone.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Work closely with clients, in a consultative manner, to understand their interests and construct solutions. This position serves as the sole liaison between our company and the client, requiring professional communications skills that are characteristic of our company’s integrity
• Understand and communicate basic financial concepts in a concise, compelling manner
• Develop correspondence for day-to-day client-communications, building an optimized library of refined correspondences (simple AP-Style)
• Develop new ideas and compose copy for a diverse range of marketing campaigns, including direct-mail, brochures, collateral sheets, and advertising
• Proof, edit, and revise copy among colleagues
• Thoroughly track, organize and catalog communications within computer software
Ideal Qualifications
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of promotional copywriting and direct-response marketing principles
• Expedient, self-managed, soup-to-nuts writing skills, including: concept, composition, proof and revision
• Excellent grammar and proofreading skills with superior attention to detail
• Well rounded knowledge of sales/marketing methodologies
• Unwaveringly positive attitude; a flexible and diplomatic personality with a pleasant demeanor
• Ability to stay positive, calm, and collected during fast-paced periods of activity
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Proficiency in Adobe tools a plus
• Experience or education in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
